When I first met you in my sophomore year of high school, I thought you were weird. Of course, I did not really know you then so I had no right to judge, but because I was dating your best friend at the time, I was bound to run into you more than once. We did frequently, and I'm glad of it.

I had no idea what to do. Everyone was against me. People I thought were my friends, people I trusted, people I barely knew, heck, even people of whom I did not know their names were judging me for things I did not do. Rumors were being spread everywhere and not a one of them were true. I thank you for not being one of them. I thank y
It began when your father made me laugh. I was up and down the whole night long, because my back was hurting. Only now do I realize why it was hurting so much. I cannot believe that I did not recognize the signs sooner. I feel so stupid, thinking back on it, but I do not regret it. Laughter is the best medicine. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
From home, your father drove us to the hospital. Your grandmothers, uncles, aunts, and Grampy Steven arrived to visit. It was so much fun having them there. They brought joy and laughter (along with presents for you, even though you had not arrived yet). You were very special to them already, and
It's Christmas! It's Christmas!
I cannot believe
how quickly the year
has come and gone again.
It's Christmas! It's Christmas!
Is it really so?
I would swear, that just yesterday,
I was glad
for no snow.
Spring had arrived,
and I walked down the aisle.
I had moved to my Mother's
with only 3 months to go.
We moved out a month later,
Shocked and unsure.
My husband was angry, and so was I.
Because to have a home, would be a month more.
Early morn, on July nineteenth,
our son, William, arrived with two weeks to go.
Tears poured from my eyes as soon as I saw him.
It didn't matter. He was mine.
It's Christmas! It's Christmas!

A sunny day in the park. There is a single bench CENTRE stage. GOD is sitting on the LEFT side of the bench. He has long, white hair and a long, white beard, and is wearing a simple white robe. He is reading a newspaper. Enter PETER from the RIGHT. He is wearing black pants, leather shoes, a white shirt and a garish, comical tie. He is carrying a paper bag. PETER sits on the bench next to GOD, setting his bag next to him. He folds his hands and admires the weather.
PETER. Beautiful weather today.
GOD [focusing on his newspaper]. Mm-hm.
PETER. [Extending his hand] The name's Peter.
GOD [shaking PETER's hand]. God.

GOD:
Next, please.
MAN:
Yes, hello again.
GOD:
I'm sorry, my memory fails me. Which one are you?
MAN:
Well, I was Martin Fry.
GOD:
I'm sorry, those records are terminated. What's your number?
MAN:
Eleven thirty-one.
GOD:
No, no, not your queue number. Your executive number, the eight-digits.
MAN:
You expect me to remember that?
GOD:
Well, it is within the seven plus-minus two limit, which you should achieve if you've reached up to level one. Or, are you the reincarnation?
MAN:
Yeah, that's right. That's what I wanted to discuss with you.
GOD:
Did you miss your stop?
MAN:
No.
GOD:
I only sent you off a few hours ago.

So, if everyone doesn't know by now... I have a baby boy named William Alexander (who is awesomely cute). On Wednesday he turned 6 months old.
Along with that, he also had his six-month check-up, shots included. He did not like it one bit. Poor baby. He's been fussy ever since. (Sleepy too!)
That's not the big news though, because Wednesday was an exciting day!
The big news? My sonogram was Wednesday. It's no big deal to me. I'm a natural high-risk because of some [not-so] random meds that I'm on that have to do with a long-term illness that I have. Bleh.
Anyway, Eric and I went to the sonogram while my aunt watched baby William. Well, le
Sooo... yeah. I'm getting a Wacom Bamboo Pen (tablet-thing) any day now and I'm UBER excited! It's not necessarily the one that I wanted, but I'mnot complaining! I will be able to do what I want... finally!
Now that I've said that, beware. When I DO get it, I am going to try my hand at drawing again. I mean, it's only been over a year. (I'll probably start with something simple... like a person. ^^;)
